FAQs

Welcome to Riverdale Baptist!

What Is Your Sunday Worship Like?

You’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as we together worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In fellowship we together pray, break bread, and learn from a solid, Bible-based, relevant message weekly. Worship starts at 10:45 a.m. and finishes about 12:15 p.m.

What is it Like to Visit For The First Time?

We know many people do not want to draw attention to themselves as they search for a church. If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or draw attention to you. Come in, praise and worship our Savior, hear His Word, and see if this is the church for you.

What Should I Wear?

You’ll find everything from jeans and casual clothes to dresses and business suits at our Sunday service. Come in appropriate attire, what is comfortable for you.

Where Is Worship Held?

Enter through the carport double doors at the rear parking lot. Currently, we meet on the first floor in Fellowship Hall. Just follow the hallway from the carport double doors.

Where Is the Sanctuary?

As HVAC and other improvements are underway, we meet in the sanctuary when we are able. There's an elevator just past the double doors on the right. The sanctuary is to the right from the elevator on the second floor.

What About My Children?

We provide a safe environment for children to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ Sundays at Children's Church, pre-K through grade 6, 10:45 a.m. Their teachers guide them to their classroom just before the worship-service sermon.

Do You Have a Midweek Service?

We join in prayer in an informal gathering Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., as we worship, learn, study and praise His awesome power; and seek His guidance and grace.

What Other Ministries Do You Have?

Where should I park?

Ample parking is available on the lot behind the church off of Marvin Street. You may enter the church through the rear carport doors.

Marvin Street is accessible from both Riverdale Road and Edgerton Avenue.

Handicapped-accessible parking is at the rear of the church next to the carport; or you may drive under the carport, where assistance is available.

Is the church handicapped-accessible?

Yes. The adults' and children's classrooms, restrooms, Fellowship Hall and the sanctuary are all wheelchair-accessible. Enter at the rear carport doors.
